Terms and Conditions

Please kindly read these terms and conditions carefully. On booking online or signing our booking form when making a reservation over the phone or by email, you are deemed to have read and accepted our Booking Conditions, and are accepting the terms of these conditions on behalf of all persons in the party.

These terms and conditions constitute an agreement with the Merchant. By entering the site, you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes.

1. Rates

Tour prices are valid until December 31st, 2017 and are net prices, quoted in American Dollars. Our prices for cruises are generally per cabin, not per person, except for promotions and day cruises.

2. Deposit and Cancellation

Deposit payments can be settled by bank wire transfer, credit card or through Western Union Global Transfer. Deposits are generally 30% total rate is required at booking.

Cancellation will be charged as follows:

FLEXIBLE RATE

For FIT booking (group of less than 7 cabins)

  • More than 7 days prior to trip departure: No charge
  • 7 days - 3 days before arrival: 50% charge
  • Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rate
  • No show: 100% of total rate

For GIT booking (group of from 7 cabins)

  • More than 60 days prior to trip departure: No charge
  • 60 days - 31 days before arrival: 50% charge
  • From 30 to 15 days prior to check-in: 75% of total rate
  • Less than 15 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rate
  • No show: 100% of total rate

PROMOTIONAL & PACKAGE RATE

  • All bookings with promotional & package rate are non-refundable and cannot be amended or modified. Failure to arrive at our cruise will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be given.

3. Final Payment

Final payment is due 30 days in advance of the tour. These payments are due in our office or submitted online 60 days prior to the departure date for GIT booking and 07 days prior to the departure date for FIT booking. If reservations are made less than 60 days prior to the departure date for GIT booking and less than 07 days prior to the departure date for FIT booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. If final payments are not received on time, La Vela Cruises may cancel the reservation and invoke the cancellation fee.

Except as otherwise agreed by the Merchant, the Client’s payment shall be executed by cash, or credit card. All credit card transactions proceed without bank charges.

In cases where credit facilities have not been agreed with the Client/Agent, payment shall be executed by swift or telegraphic transfer to the appropriate Merchant’s bank account. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Merchant must be paid by the Client/Agent.

Payment will be settled through our bank account at least 30 days before arrival.

4. Refund of Unused services

No refunds or exchange can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transports or any other services which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member.

5. Vouchers

Vouchers will be issued by La Vela Cruises after the booked trip is confirmed and payment is completed. A service voucher will be sent by email/fax to passenger.

6. Liability and Insurance

La Vela Cruises accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, damage or delay due to natural disaster, political actions, weather or causes beyond its control.

Travel insurance and medical precautions are essential. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance at the time of booking.

 7. Confirmation

All confirmations are generally confirmed by return fax or e-mail within 2 working days. In case immediate confirmation is not possible, we will inform you of the booking status at the time of reservation.

8. Passengers’ Information

Client is requested to submit all passenger details at least 24 hours prior to check-in of passengers (Full name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Passport number, Vietnam visa expiry date, Contact number).
